Let your assistantbuy your travel eSIM.
Pelesim runs a Model Context Protocol server, so any MCP-capable agent can search destinations, compare plans, or handle the purchase on your behalf. A payment-capable agent can finish an approved checkout; otherwise it hands you the Stripe link.
The fastest way to connect
Paste this to your assistant and it can set itself up. The endpoint is published at /.well-known/mcp.json, so an assistant handed the link reads the setup itself.
Install this MCP server: https://pelesim.com/mcpEndpoint https://api.pelesim.com/mcp over streamable HTTP.

What your assistant does for you
Find the right plan
Your assistant searches 200+ destinations, compares data allowances and trip lengths, and checks whether your phone supports eSIM at all. No credentials needed for any of this.
Buy it on your behalf
Ask it to buy and it can choose a matching plan and create Stripe Checkout. If it has a secure payment capability and you approve this purchase, it can complete it; otherwise it hands you the link.
Deliver the eSIM
Once you have paid, it hands you an install link showing your QR code and one-tap install buttons. Open it on the phone the eSIM is for.
Watch your data, with your permission
Connect your account and your assistant can tell you how much data is left and top up an eSIM before it runs out. Revoke that access from your profile whenever you want.
Try asking
“Buy me a 10 GB eSIM for my 12-day trip to Japan.”
Your assistant can compare the plans, choose the match, and create the purchase for you. If your request clearly approves that purchase and it can pay securely, it finishes checkout; otherwise it gives you the Stripe link.
Nothing to install
Set it up
The server is remote, so there is nothing to install and nothing to keep updated. Pick your assistant:
One command. Claude Code speaks remote HTTP natively.
claude mcp add --transport http pelesim https://api.pelesim.com/mcpTo connect your account, add --header "Authorization: Bearer pelesim_ak_your_key_here".
Searching and buying need no credentials. To let your assistant see eSIMs you already own, create a key under profile settings and follow the note in your assistant's tab above.

What your assistant can do
Assistants that support MCP Apps draw the answers instead of listing them: destination tiles, plan cards with prices, and your eSIMs with the data left on each. Everywhere else the same answers arrive as text.

Payment and account safeguards
- It cannot use a payment method without your explicit approval for that purchase.
- Never send card details through chat. Payment-capable assistants use a separate secure capability; otherwise payment stays with you on Stripe.
- A connected account is limited to reading your eSIMs and starting a top-up. It cannot change your account, read your invoices, or delete anything.
- You can revoke an assistant's access at any time from your profile settings, and we email you the first time one connects.

Troubleshooting
Every call returns 404
The endpoint is switched off, or the URL is wrong. Check that you are pointing at https://api.pelesim.com/mcp and that the path ends in /mcp. If the URL is right and it still 404s, the server is temporarily disabled on our side.
Your assistant says it cannot buy
Purchases can be paused independently of the server. Searching and comparing plans will keep working while that is the case. Contact support if it persists.
"This needs a connected Pelesim account"
The account tools need a credential the discovery and purchase tools do not. Either the key is missing from your config, it was revoked from profile settings, or it expired. Create a new one and update your assistant's config.
The QR code will not install
Open the install link on the phone the eSIM is for, not the device you are chatting on. The link shows both the QR code and one-tap install buttons.
