Confirm eSIM support on your phone

An EID confirms that your phone has eSIM hardware. Your phone must also be carrier-unlocked before you install a travel eSIM.

iPhone

Settings > General > About. Look for an EID, then confirm Carrier Lock says No SIM restrictions.

Android

Dial *#06# and look for an EID in Device information. You can also check Settings > Connections > SIM manager for Add eSIM.
