Accessibility statement

Operated by Configo LTD d.b.a Pelesim. Last reviewed: November 2, 2026.

Our commitment

Pelesim sells travel eSIMs, and the whole service happens on this website: choosing a plan, paying, installing, topping up, and getting support. We want everyone to be able to use it, including people with disabilities, people who use a screen reader, screen magnification, or only a keyboard, and older travellers.

The site is operated by Configo LTD. We work to meet the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments to Service) Regulations, 2013, and Israeli Standard IS 5568 at level AA, which is based on the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.

What we have done

  • Semantic structure: every page has headings in order, marked navigation, content, and footer regions, and a "Skip to main content" link at the top.
  • Keyboard navigation: every link, button, and field can be reached with Tab, and focus is clearly visible. Dialogs take focus when they open, keep it inside them, close with Escape, and return focus to where they were opened. Tabs and pickers work with the arrow keys.
  • Contrast: text colours are chosen and checked against the background they sit on to meet the standard's contrast ratio.
  • Text alternatives: informative images have text alternatives, and decorative ones, such as a flag beside a country name, are hidden from screen readers.
  • Hebrew and right-to-left: the Hebrew site reads right to left, every page declares its language, and the direction of English terms, addresses, and numbers inside Hebrew text is marked so they display and read in the right order.
  • Screen readers: every form field has a label, icon-only buttons have an accessible name, and error and confirmation messages are announced when they appear.
  • Zoom and layout: the site can be zoomed to 200% in the browser without sideways scrolling or lost content, and pinch-zoomed on a phone. It adapts to screens of every size.
  • Installing without scanning: next to every QR code we show the manual installation details (the SM-DP+ address and activation code) as text you can copy, for anyone who cannot scan a code.
  • Testing: the site's pages in English and Hebrew, including the account area, the Partner portal, and the sign-in and accessibility dialogs, were checked against WCAG 2.1 AA with automated tools (Lighthouse and axe) and by hand with a keyboard, in Chrome, at desktop and phone sizes.

The accessibility menu

Every page of the Hebrew site has an "Accessibility options" button that opens a menu of adjustments. Your choices are saved on your device and stay on for your next visit:

  • Bigger or smaller text
  • High contrast, light (black on white) or dark (white and yellow on black)
  • Monochrome, low saturation or high saturation colors
  • Highlighted links
  • Highlighted headings
  • A readable font
  • Wider text spacing
  • Stopped animations
  • A highlighted focus ring for keyboard navigation
  • A big cursor
  • A reading guide that follows the pointer
  • Image descriptions shown on hover or focus
  • Resetting every adjustment at once

The menu adds to your operating system and browser settings rather than replacing them. The site also follows your device's "reduce motion" setting.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts may not be fully accessible yet. These are the ones we know about:

  • The payment page: card payments are taken on a secure page run by Stripe, which we do not control. Stripe publishes its own accessibility commitment, and if that page gives you trouble we will gladly help you complete your order.
  • Documents and messages: invoices and receipts are produced as PDF files by an outside system and may not be fully accessible. Our emails are sent in English only, and email apps display them differently. You can ask us for any of these in an accessible format.
  • Information from network providers: network names, coverage details, and some status messages come from our eSIM providers and are shown as we receive them, sometimes only in English.
  • The Pelesim app for iPhone and Android: the app has not yet been reviewed to the same standard. Every service it offers, including buying, installing, and topping up an eSIM, is also available on this website, which works on a phone.
  • Legal documents: the terms, privacy policy, and other legal documents are shown in Hebrew as a translation for your convenience; the English text, linked at the top of each one, is the binding version.

Physical accessibility

Pelesim is an online service only. Configo LTD has no office or service point open to the public, so there are no physical accessibility arrangements to describe.

Contacting us about accessibility

Found an accessibility problem, or need information or a service in an accessible way? We want to know. Accessibility requests are handled by the Pelesim support team, through these channels:

  • Email: info [at] pelesim.com
  • Contact form: Contact us
  • Postal address: Configo LTD, 16 Helkikei HaOr, Beersheba, Israel

To help us act quickly, include the page address, what you were trying to do and what did not work, and the browser, device, and assistive technology you used. We will get back to you as soon as we can, and if the problem stops you from completing an order or installing an eSIM, we will help you finish it another way in the meantime.
